Kiwanis is a global organization of volunteers dedicated to improving the world one child and one community at a time.

Kiwanis is comprised of local clubs comprising adult men and women who provide service to their communities. Kiwanians participate in projects and fund raisers that provide assistance to local charities, hospitals, schools, shelters, other community organizations, and individuals.

In honor of the 100th Birthday of Kiwanis, we are seeking 100 donors per division to give a donation between $1-$100. This birthday gift will be a gift to The Eliminate Project. Email the Governor to Donate in Your Division. He will write you back and thank you personally!

Kiwanis International Convention
June 25-28th, 2015 | Indianapolis
If ever there was a Kiwanis convention not to miss, this is it! Kiwanians from around the world will celebrate our 100th anniversary in Indianapolis this June. And we won’t be alone: Members of Circle K, Key Club and Aktion Club will all join us. Engage and exchange with fellow Kiwanians and other members of the Kiwanis family. Gather tools to use once you're back with your club. Come make history. And years from now, you’ll be able to say: I was there!

Be a delegate at the 100th anniversary convention. Help shape the future of Kiwanis. Vote for officers who will lead the organization. Kiwanis clubs in good standing are allowed two representatives in the House of Delegates, along with two alternates. Download the certificate of election of club delegates and alternates to the Kiwanis International convention.

We need every club to have 2 delegates attend so that we can support the Trustee Candidacy of Past District Governor Tammy Driskill. Check out her campaign website at TEAMTAMMY2015.COM.

Message from the District Governor

Welcome to the Alabama District Kiwanis International website. We hope members and potential members find the site enjoyable and informative as you search through its contents. Kiwanis goal is defined by our motto changing the world one child and one community at a time.

For potential members, we invite you to join us as we work toward this goal.

What if you could save a baby's life?

With The Eliminate Project, you can. Maternal and neonatal tetanus (MNT) kills one baby every nine minutes. But three doses of a 60-cent vaccine can protect mothers and babies. Kiwanis and UNICEF have joined forces to bring this vaccine to 38 countries, eliminating MNT from the face of the Earth. What can you do right now? Learn about MNT and advocate for the cause. Participate in our fundraisers. Over the next few years, the work we do will change the world. Find out more at www.TheEliminateProject.org.
